We present JROTC DAR Awards to all seven public high schools in Berkeley County, South Carolina. We present Good Citizens,
Youth Citizenship and
Excellence in American History Awards at

Colonial Dress at Berkeley Museum
This colonial dress is on display at the Berkeley Museum on loan from General Marion's Brigade. This dress once belonged to the Founding Member of our chapter, the late Kitty Mescher. It was her vision to always promote General Francis Marion.
This dress is of the style that his wife, Esther Marion, would have worn at the time.

NSDAR
The Daughters of the American Revolution was founded on October 11, 1890, by four determined women and a supporting cast of patriotic citizens. Decidedly not ladies of leisure, the four founders were
anything but traditional.
Learn more about the formative years of the organization and the brave women who
lay the groundwork for the National Society that is
still going strong more than
125 years later.
Preserve Patriot Graves
General Marion's Brigade NSDAR supported the efforts to help with the preservation of patriot graves at the cemetery of the St. James Goose Creek Chapel of Ease Historic Site. Several of our members have been active in this effort and continue to work on preserving this site. We should secure our history for future citizens to appreciate.
Please check out the Chapel of Ease website.
